A community-based exposure notification app that keeps you informed and provides you with the confidence to interact with others responsibly.

TEN-3 uses QR-codes to make signing into events simple and seamless. By scanning a TEN-3 code the associated event will be automatically added to your dashboard and your device ID will be added to the relevant "Event Bubble". Once signed in, you can relax and enjoy your event.

When you leave your event you must close the active event bubble. Every event bubble is pre-programmed for a duration of 2 hours and will prompt you to extend or close your bubble if you forget. Closing the event bubble prevents additional devices from being added after you leave.

If an individual who was in one of your event bubbles tests positive for COVID-19 they will submit an exposure report. This allows you and anyone else who was potentially exposed to be informed within seconds and take the necessary precautions. These include self-isolating, contacting your local health agency, and getting tested.

If you test positive for COVID-19 you are expected to submit an exposure report. After pressing the "Report" button you will verify your device ID by entering a verification code. Once the device has been verified your event bubbles will be anonymously notified and asked to take the necessary precautions.

By using the TEN-3 app you can rest easy knowing that you and your loved ones will be notified immediately if you have been at risk of COVID-19 exposure. We are all in this together, so let's do our part to keep each other safe.

The TEN-3 app was built to be compliant with the principals of privacy and security by design. On top of that, we only collect information that is required for the app to function (an email and phone number for verification purposes) and maintain your anonymity by using an alphanumeric device ID as the identifier for Event Bubbles.

In addition to collecting minimal information, all of your Event Bubble data will be deleted 14 days after the event has concluded, mirroring the incubation period of COVID-19. This allows us to hold your data for as short a period of time as possible while remaining an effective tool for exposure notification.

Why should I use TEN-3?

By using the TEN-3 App, you are able to help quickly identify the path of transmission and isolate those who may be infected before it spreads further, breaking the chains of transmission and flattening the curve. We are all in this together and timely communication is a crucial aspect of keeping everyone safe.

Do you track my location?

No. Unlike other exposure notification apps, TEN-3 does not use Location Services or Bluetooth to identify exposure events. By using QR-codes and zoning we are able to create "Event Bubbles" that anonymously group individuals by their device ID. If two devices are in the same zone for more than 10 minutes they fit the criteria for a potential exposure event and create a bubble. If someone tests positive for COVID-19 they press the "Report" button and all of the devices that have a shared bubble are notified anonymously of their potential exposure.

Will people know that it was ME that tested positive and reported?

No. People who are notified of a potential exposure event do not receive any personal information pertaining to the individual that reported.

What should I do if I get an exposure notification?

If you receive an exposure notification you should self-isolate, inform friends and family that you've interacted with since the alerted event, and contact your local health agency for next steps.
